Marigold

Marigolds. Do they actually repel beasts of destruction? Wispy, sporadic, mundane...I can't get into them. Wive's tales say that they keep the gophers (more on that later) at bay. They are thirsty and aligned against the general aesthetic. Worth it? Time will tell...

  1. Sometimes plants take a little while to get going. There are quite a few unopen buds on them so there is potential there!

  2. Thanks, Margaret. We're hoping they fill out a bit. The new property is rife with gophers, and these were an effort to keep them from the edibles. We'll post a pic when the marigolds get bigger. Enjoy the rest of the summer season!
